Very good place for dining a great food. Many varieties for vegetarians and vegan as well. Newk's never disappointed is so far anywhere. Great menu, very friendly staff, nice spacious place. Perfect to have a dinner with family.
Newk’s is my favorite because of the Caesar salad and the dressing! The young lady who served me was so nice and knowledgeable about the food. She was not in a hurry and she did everything with a smile. Great customer service!
The Shreveport location never disappoints! I eat at Newk’s regularly when I don’t want to bring lunch and of course on Saturdays for the BOGO half off deal.
Always good here no matter if I go at opening or right before closing. They also have a great rewards program. If you live in Mardi Gras Country, the plastic cups make a good addition to your yearly stock pile from the parades.

The chicken salad sandwich has always been my favorite. I have tried all the soups and they are usually good! I like the bread. They have really good strawberry cake too!
I wish I'd gotten the young lady's name last night (black lady with braids at the take out side 6/30/26, 7:30-8pm). She went above and beyond to make my order perfectly! I casually mentioned that I was planning to eat half of my salad for dinner and take the rest for lunch today. She had it divided for me and included an extra container, utensils, and dressing for today. Her effort was beyond my expectations and really showed that she cares about her customers. I hope her managers see this and recognize her in a meaningful way. Thank you!
Food as always is great!! Food was fresh and delicious! Many selections to choose from. Ordered online and it was very easy to do. The staff was very pleasant and the restaurant inside is always clean at the Shreveport and Bossier locations. I will definitely recommend Newk’s to anyone.
Yesterday I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken and I picked it up. It’s even better than I remember from the last time!! Such fresh lettuce. Love the shaved/shredded chicken. The dressing is amazing. Is it made in the store? Best lunch ever. Thanks, Newk’s!! I’ll be back soon!!
